Is a travel agent really FREE to use?

“That’s how they get ya!” is the cliche phrase always in the back of my mind when I hear the word free. But in this case, we really aren’t here to “get ya”, we are here to help ya! For years in planning my personal vacations, I always thought I was getting a cheaper deal by going the DIY planning path.

I’d wake up early to snag the dining reservations 60 days prior to our trip. I struggled through the learning curve of Genie+. I watched hours and hours of YouTube videos trying to find the answer to just one of my questions. Booking it yourself, only means that the supplier pockets that commission…and “that’s how they get ya”! If you go through a travel agent, the Supplier will pay the travel agent the included commission once you’ve taken your vacation.

However, a travel agent is able to ensure that you are getting the best deal that Disney is offering at the time.
